Everything about the pie was delicious - the pastry was moist and very flavoursome, the filling was plentiful and a tasty combination. I would definitely recommend these pies.

My elderly aunt used to visit family in Cornwall and has very fond memories of Saffron Buns. She thought that you could no longer get them, until I found these at Devon Hampers and gave her a pack. She was thrilled with them and said the taste was just as good as she remembers. This was my first time of trying them - they definitely had a distinct taste of saffron, which was very nice, and they were lovely and moist. I would definitely buy them again.
